Our Story
STATVet was founded by an experienced Emergency Veterinarian to address a need for reliable, convenient, transparent Urgent Care for pets in the Tulsa Metro area. Demand for veterinary services has sky-rocketed in recent years and Tulsa pet owners are seeing extended wait times at veterinary ERs or finding their primary care veterinarian booked out longer than ever before. We’re here when your pet needs to feel better sooner. STATVet is a privately-owned, locally-owned, and woman-owned veterinary practice.

Fully equipped with in-house bloodwork, x-ray, and ultrasound capabilities to rapidly diagnose and treat your pet. Medical records are automatically forwarded to your family veterinarian.

Our Veterinary Team
During your pet’s visit, you will meet with an experienced emergency veterinary nurse who will stay with your pet throughout his or her diagnostics and treatment. From check-in to check-out, our goal for you is a familiar face who knows the ins and outs of your pet’s case.
Dr. Corynn Cackler

Dr. Corynn Cackler is the founder of STATVet and brings with her many years of experience as an Emergency and ICU Veterinarian. After graduating from Oklahoma State University, she completed a Medical & Surgical Internship in San Francisco, California. Dr. Cackler has been practicing in the Tulsa area since that time and has developed excellent relationships with many family veterinarians throughout the city. Dr. Cackler lives in Jenks with her husband and stepchildren. When not fixing critters at STATVet, she enjoys horseback riding and traveling.

Dr. Whitney Hough is the first full-time Associate Veterinarian to join STATVet. Upon graduation from Oklahoma State University, she completed a Medical and Surgical Internship in Detroit, MI.
She received extensive training in the specialty of Internal Medicine and worked hard to hone her ultrasonography skills, working directly with many board-certified specialists.
Dr. Hough is also a talented surgeon and enjoys performing many emergency surgical procedures.
We especially love Dr. Hough’s positive attitude and her thoroughness in caring for her patients. She fits right in with our warm and collaborative culture at STATVet.
Dr. Hough is originally from Oklahoma City. She shares her home in Tulsa with her partner, Jay, and their numerous furry companions. In her spare time, Dr. Hough enjoys relaxing with her family and spending time outdoors.
Dr. Brittany D. Decker
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine
Dr. Decker is the second associate veterinarian to join STATVet. Originally from Claremore, OK, she earned both her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Oklahoma State University. Dr. Decker spent the first several years of her career in general practice in Dallas, TX. She recently relocated to the Tulsa area to be closer to family.
We especially love Dr. Decker’s ability to communicate well with her clients, and her keen interest in learning from those around her.
Dr. Decker has a particular affinity for dermatology, soft tissue surgery, and urgent care/emergency cases which makes her an excellent fit at STATVet. Outside of work, she enjoys fitness, reading, and spending time with her family and two dogs.
